Korean Movie Marathon!

Hello Ghost, Sad Movie, Speed Scandal, and Always.

I watched Hello Ghost weeks ago. But I want to tell about this movie too :)

1) Hello Ghost

My wonderful, adorable and funny Cha Tae Hyun. I saw him in 3 out of 4 movies i have watched -___-. I bet he is really popular in South Korea. Hello Ghost is about a jobless man who wanted to suicide. He was a failure and he even failed to commit his suicide. And when he woke up in a hospital he was able to see ghost. There were 4 ghosts. A fat man, a pervert old man, a child, and a woman who cried all the time. This jobless man granted their wishes to get rid of them. He met this beautiful nurse and fell in love with her. In the end this nurse gave him hope to keep living. 

This movie ending made me cry so hard. SPOILER ALERT. Those ghosts were his family. His Dad, his Mom, his Grandpa, his older brother. They all died in a car accident. Only Cha Tae Hyun survived :'(. They always accompanied Cha Tae Hyun all this time. And he was never alone. He had their family forever, even though they were dead. 

2) Sad Movie

My favorite movie! This movie is so funny but... the title is sad movie. We can't expect happy endings. That is what i love from this movie. It can makes me laugh, but cry in the end. There are 4 stories in this movie. First one is the love story between the older sister and a fireman. Second, the love story about the younger sister (she is deaf) and a painter. Then, A mother-son story. They love each other very much. And the last one is Cha Tae Hyun again. His job is to help other people breaking up.

Those stories don't have happy endings.

I'm not a korean addict. My brother's friend gave me all this movies. And i just can't stop myself for watching. And i have to admit, korean is really great in making movies.

Style

I just finished a great korean novel! The title is "Style". As the title, the story is about fashion, entertainment, and mode. The main character is Lee Seo Jung. A famous female journalist. She have written a lot of article about actors, movie, fashion, and food. Her complicated love life begun when she had to meet Park Woo Jin. A man who has left her 7 years ago in a blind date. A man who has a restaurant called "About". A man who she needs to have an interview with.
It is a great and sophisticated book. It's just like "Devil Wears Prada" in South Korea. It mentioned a lot of famous brand. And there is no girl who can say no to hermes or chanel.
But i have to admit, I was disappointed with the indonesian translation. There are a lot of different meanings if    you read it in Indonesian.
Anyway i love this book. This book has a lot of awards for a reason, right? They made it into Korean Drama too. I haven't watch it yet. But I am willing to watch :)
